BloomOptix have a unique AI algorithm, automating the analysis of microscopy images to count cyanobacteria, thereby radically reducing the time requirements for sample processing. BloomOptix approached Airsource to see if our expertise in producing the ioLight application could be put to work to power an integrated backend system as well as a dedicated mobile offering.

Result

Airsource produced a backend system to communicate with the Azure ML algorithm, alongside an integrated iOS application. The full system allows microscopy users to upload captured imagery instantly, monitor their uploads and see cyanobacteria reports in record time.
